Ryan Coyne

Founder and CEO

Ryan Coyne is an entrepreneur with experience founding and growing digital media firms while managing all facets of the business including executive management, sales, product development, and operations.

In 2004, 2005, and 2006 he was selected to row for the United States of America competing against competition from around the world. In all three instances where he represented the United States of America, Coyne brought home gold medals.

A Philadelphia native and three-time national champion rower, he was honored with induction into the Malvern Prep Athletic Hall of Fame in 2019.

After graduation, Coyne joined JP Morgan in their Investment Bank in New York City where he worked directly with major banks, insurance companies, and sovereign wealth funds on a diverse range of strategic decisions including mergers, acquisitions, debt/equity financing, and initial public offerings.

Subsequent to his time in New York City, Coyne moved to Washington, D.C. where he helped launch and build IMGE, a premier digital marketing agency.

In 2018, he established Olympic Media, a new-age digital advertising agency which focuses on a broad array of business verticals including politics, sports & entertainment, intelligence & defense, consumer brands, advocacy, and real estate.

In 2019, Coyne established the Working Warrior Foundation, which aims to help veterans who are unemployed or underemployed find fulfilling employment while providing the tools necessary to transition back into civilian life.

We have decided to remake the traditional Ad Agency model by investing directly in our clients and shouldering all of the risk - as opposed to visa versa.

Our model is not for everyone. You must have a minimum level of national brand awareness in order to work with Olympic Media.

"The real fact of the matter is that nobody reads ads. People read what interests them, and sometimes it’s an ad."

- Howard Luck Gossage

“Never write an advertisement which you wouldn’t want your own family to read. You wouldn’t tell lies to your own wife. Don’t tell them to mine. Do as you would be done by. If you tell lies about a product, you will be found out.”

- David Ogilvy

“Creative without strategy is called ‘art.’ Creative with strategy is called ‘advertising.'”

- Jef I. Richards

“Creativity is intelligence having fun.”

- Albert Einstein

“Creativity may well be the last legal unfair competitive advantage we can take to run over the competition.”

- Dave Trott

“Creativity is like washing a pig. It’s messy. It has no rules. No clear beginning, middle, or end. It’s kind of a pain in the ass, and when you’re done, you’re not sure if the pig is really clean or even why you were washing a pig in the first place.”

- Luke Sullivan

“There isn’t any significant difference between the various brands of whiskey or cigarettes or beer. They are all about the same. And so are the cake mixes and the detergents and the margarines...The manufacturer who dedicates his advertising to building the most sharply defined personality for his brand will get the largest share of the market at the highest profit.”

- David Ogilvy

“Stopping advertising to save money is like stopping your watch to save time.”

- Henry Ford

“The advertisement is the most truthful part of a newspaper.”

- Thomas Jefferson
